About
The City of St. Louis Department of Public Health, in partnership with the Heartland Center for Public Health and Community Capacity Development, received support during 2015-2016 from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and from the National Association of County and City Health Officials to assess regional clinical care facilities’ Ebola and emerging highly infectious disease preparedness, gaps, and interest in further professional development and collaboration with local health departments. This Ebola and Emerging Highly Infectious Disease (EEHID) E-learning portal has been developed to provide not only Public Health Professionals, but also, Clinical Practice Partners access to workforce education, training, and resources to enhance professional development and knowledge in emerging infectious diseases.
